Day 16 Waking Up, Explore

This morning I did Day 16 of the Waking Up course. It was a pretty simple meditation with no new concepts, just practicing breathing and exploring your mind. He left a lot of room to just focus on breathing which was really nice, meaning most of the guided meditation was silent. For the last minute he said to not focus on anything and expand our mind. With my eyes closed I did a birds eye view of my room, then my house, and then my neighborhood. I thought of places close and far. I reached  my mind out to my boyfriend who lives in Evanston, which gave me a very warm feeling. Doing that exercise give me a feeling of euphoria and allowed me to let go of my body and my worries. I want to try that again next time I meditate.
