Day 13 Waking Up, Moments

Today I did Day 13 of the Waking Up course. Harris said the point of today’s meditation is to take it and practice it (carry it with you) the rest of your day, and the importance of having a mindful moment, no matter how long. Today Harris gave his listeners a lot of space to find their own consciousness, but in the final minute he asked his listeners to open their eyes. He mentioned that all the colors and light within our visual field is a part of our consciousness, all along, and that it has been there the whole time while meditating. It really makes me ask the question, what really is consciousness? I have a feeling I will soon discover the answer.
